Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Redline Athletics Flemington to the Business Community

The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Redline Athletics Flemington, a new youth sports performance and athletic development facility located at 1 Barbiche Drive in Raritan Township.

The new facility provides a dedicated environment for young athletes to develop strength, speed, agility, power and confidence through science-backed training programs. Redline Athletics is a national athletic development organization focused on athletes ages 8 to 18, offering structured performance training, semi-private sessions, performance testing, sport-specific training, camps and clinics. The Flemington facility features 10,000 square feet of top-of-the-line turf, fully outfitted with Rogue commercial fitness equipment, alongside strength and conditioning areas, batting cages and other specialized training equipment. Parents enjoy the flexibility to seamlessly schedule sessions via a mobile app, while athletes benefit from a low coach-to-student ratio led by certified sports performance coaches.

The Redline Athletics model also places an emphasis on character development. The organization's programming incorporates traits including leadership, perseverance, integrity, effort, teamwork, coachability and compassion as part of the athletic development experience.

Christopher J. Phelan, President of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Redline Athletics to the county's growing business community.“A grand opening like this represents much more than the opening of a new facility. It represents an investment in Hunterdon County, an investment in our young people, and an investment in the future of our community,” said Phelan. “We are proud to welcome Redline Athletics to Hunterdon County and to celebrate the vision and entrepreneurial commitment that brought this business to our community.”

“Our mission is to help every young athlete become ‘greater than yesterday’ by providing a high-energy, fun environment they actually want to keep coming back to,” said Chirag Pankhawala, Owner of Redline Athletics Flemington. “Whether a beginner or an elite competitor, we are ‘your path to performance.’ By combining our science-backed programs, certified coaches, and the gamification of workouts, we empower the youth of Hunterdon County to ‘find your edge’ both physically and mentally.”

Phelan noted that businesses that support the health, development and success of young people play an important role in the overall quality of life of the county. “What makes this business particularly meaningful is that its impact extends beyond sports,” Phelan said. “When we help young people develop discipline, confidence, perseverance, teamwork and leadership, we are helping prepare the next generation of leaders. Those are qualities that serve young people not only on the playing field, but in the classroom, in the workplace and throughout their lives.”

According to Redline Athletics, its programs are designed to help athletes improve speed, strength, agility and power while developing confidence and better movement mechanics. The organization also uses periodic performance assessments and engaging workout gamification to measure progress, ensure training remains fun, and help athletes understand their development.

The opening also reflects the continued growth and diversification of Hunterdon County's small business community.

“Our role as a Chamber is to help businesses connect, grow and succeed while strengthening the communities in which they operate,” Phelan said. “Ribbon cuttings are one of the ways we celebrate that mission. We are not simply cutting a ribbon; we are recognizing an entrepreneur's investment, welcoming a new member of the business community and creating connections that can help that business grow for years to come.”

Phelan also emphasized the importance of supporting businesses that choose Hunterdon County as the location for their investment. “Every new business that opens its doors in Hunterdon County is an opportunity,” he said. “It creates economic activity, builds relationships with other local businesses, provides services to our residents and adds another piece to the fabric of our community. We want entrepreneurs to know that Hunterdon County is a place where businesses can grow, where relationships matter and where the business community wants to see them succeed.”

The addition of Redline Athletics expands the county's recreational and youth-focused business community while providing families with another resource for athletic development and fitness. The national Redline Athletics organization reports that it has trained more than 50,000 youth athletes over the past 15 years and operates more than 50 locations across the United States.

For the Hunterdon County Chamber, welcoming Redline Athletics represents exactly the type of business engagement the organization seeks to foster. “We congratulate the entire Redline Athletics team on this important milestone,” Phelan said. “We look forward to seeing the young athletes who come through these doors become stronger, more confident and better prepared for whatever comes next. We are pleased to have them as part of the Hunterdon County business community and look forward to working with them as they grow.”
