Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Grand Opening of MSI Plumbing & Remodeling Showcase

The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce proudly joined MSI Plumbing & Remodeling in celebrating the grand opening of its innovative new Showcase with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Designed to redefine the home renovation experience, the new Showcase transforms a former conference room into a collaborative, client-focused space where homeowners can make confident design decisions without the typical showroom overwhelm. Rather than navigating endless aisles of samples, visitors are guided through thoughtfully curated displays of cabinetry, tile, plumbing fixtures, quartz, and finishes—arranged as they would appear in a real home.

The Showcase highlights MSI’s full range of services, including remodeling, plumbing, and HVAC, while emphasizing the strength of its in-house team. With Remodeling Manager Brad Howell and Plumbing Manager Rich DeTorres working in close coordination, clients benefit from a seamless process from initial planning through project completion. A large integrated screen further enhances the experience, allowing homeowners to visualize layouts, explore manufacturer options, and collaborate in real time.

MSI’s investment in the Showcase comes during an exciting year for the company, which was recently named Winner for General Contractor/Remodeler in the 2026 Happening List® by Hunterdon Happening and recognized as a Finalist for Plumbing. The awards are especially meaningful because they are driven by the local community, with Hunterdon Happening readers nominating and voting for the businesses they trust.

“After listening to our customers about the process, we realized the hardest part isn’t the work, it’s the decisions,” said Audra Giese, President of MSI Plumbing & Remodeling. “We wanted to create a space that makes those decisions feel easier and more collaborative.”

Beyond its core services, the Showcase also reflects MSI’s broader commitment to community impact. The space will host meetings and gatherings tied to initiatives under the MSI umbrella, including Hunters Helping the Hungry, Thor’s Table for 92, and Anne Thornton’s Your Home Wants to Kill You (and Take Your Money Too).

Christopher J. Phelan, President & CEO of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of supporting innovative local businesses,“MSI Plumbing & Remodeling’s new Showcase is a perfect example of the forward-thinking, customer-focused innovation happening right here in Hunterdon County. As a women-owned business, MSI continues to raise the bar not only in quality and service, but also in how they engage their customers and community. The Chamber is proud to support businesses like MSI that are driving economic growth, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the overall vitality of our region.”

The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in supporting businesses of all sizes by providing advocacy, networking opportunities, and resources that help organizations grow and thrive. Through events like ribbon cuttings and initiatives that connect businesses with the broader community, the Chamber continues to serve as the unified voice of business in Hunterdon County.
