Dear Chamber Members and Friends,

 As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate Independence Day, we also pause to recognize an extraordinary milestone in our nation's history—America's 250th Anniversary. For two and a half centuries, the United States has stood as a beacon of freedom, opportunity, innovation, and hope. This anniversary reminds us that the principles established in 1776 continue to inspire generations of Americans to dream boldly, work diligently, and build stronger communities.

 One of the greatest strengths of our nation has been the free enterprise system. It has empowered entrepreneurs to transform ideas into thriving businesses, created opportunities for families to prosper, fueled innovation, and strengthened communities from coast to coast. Every small business opened, every employee hired, every product created, and every service delivered represents the enduring spirit of American ingenuity and determination.

 Here in Hunterdon County, we are fortunate to witness that spirit every day. Our local businesses are more than employers—they are neighbors, mentors, community partners, and champions of progress. They invest in our communities, support local nonprofits, create meaningful careers, and help preserve the exceptional quality of life that makes Hunterdon County such a remarkable place to live, work, and do business.

 Since 1916, the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce has proudly served as THE leading and largest advocate for the Hunterdon County business community. For 110 years, our mission has remained steadfast: to champion a vibrant economy by connecting businesses with the relationships that get results and providing the resources to support your success.

 Together, we work to strengthen our local economy, cultivate leadership, support entrepreneurship, advocate for sound public policy, and ensure that Hunterdon County remains a place where businesses and communities flourish.

 On behalf of our Board of Directors and staff, I extend my deepest gratitude to our members. Your commitment, resilience, innovation, and investment in our community are what make the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce such a strong and respected organization.  As we celebrate this Independence Day, we also express our sincere appreciation to the men and women who selflessly serve our nation and our communities.

 To our members of the United States Armed Forces, our veterans, and your families, thank you for your unwavering dedication, courage, and countless sacrifices made in defense of the freedoms we enjoy every day. Your service allows our businesses to innovate, our communities to prosper, and our nation to remain strong.

 We also offer our heartfelt thanks to our first responders—our law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, emergency management professionals, dispatchers, and all those who stand ready to protect and serve. Your commitment, often under the most challenging circumstances, keeps our families, businesses, and communities safe. We are profoundly grateful for your service.

 As we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary and look toward the future, let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals that have made our nation exceptional: freedom, opportunity, personal responsibility, entrepreneurship, innovation, service, and community. Together, we will continue building an even stronger Hunterdon County—one where businesses succeed, families thrive, and future generations inherit a legacy of prosperity and civic pride.
