America’s Grow-a-Row is a thriving 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Pittstown, NJ that donates over 2.4 million pounds, or 9.6 million servings, of farm fresh produce annually to food banks, soup kitchens, and food pantries in New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania, and, through the Mid-Atlantic Regional Cooperative, the greater northeast region from Maine to Virginia. We grow fresh fruits and vegetables on our farms in Pittstown and Alexandria Township, NJ and glean extra produce that would otherwise go to waste from our local farm partners and grocery stores. As part of our mission we educate people of all ages about nutrition and healthy eating, the hunger crisis, and agriculture. America’s Grow-a-Row has a highly motivated and efficient network of thousands of volunteers of all ages. America's Grow-a-Row's mission is to positively impact as many lives as possible through a volunteer effort of planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce.
