Saturday, February 22, 2025 (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) (EST)

Description

Ages: Adult Cost: $41 Instructor: Tom Sheppard, Chief Park Naturalist Join us as we drive for a southern loop through South/Central NJ for swans and wintering ducks. We will first head to Whitesbog, the birthplace of the modern blueberry, as we look for Tundra Swans as they winter amongst the cranberry bogs. From there, we will come back north to the Abbot Marsh and walk the trails for wintering ducks. The marsh can be host to large rafts of ducks before they migrate up to or through Hunterdon. Species seen on this trip may include shovelers, teal, and other species.
