Ages: 12 through Adult | All children must be accompanied by an adult that is also registered for the program.

The Highlands Trail spans over 180 miles in New Jersey, New York, and the adjacent states using existing trails, new trails, and road connections. For this hike, we will meet at Spruce Run Recreation Area’s Tower Parking Lot and hike through open woods, fields, and short road walks in Spruce Run and Clinton Wildlife Management Area. We will meet our shuttle driver at Charlestown Road and ride back to the cars in a County van. This hike is about 3 miles. Naturalist Laura will share fascinating nature information along the way! Please bring at least a liter of water and snacks for the hike. This program is co-sponsored by the NJ State Park Service, Spruce Run Recreation Area.
