| The County Clerk's Office is known as the "Keeper of the Records." Our office is responsible for recording all Deeds, Mortgages, Assignments, Releases of Mortgages, Financing Statements, Maps, Military Discharges, Vacation of Roads, Certificates of Incorporation, Mechanics Liens, Trade Names, Building Contracts, etc. In addition, we have general supervision over all elections and are an Authorized Passport Agent offering full passport service processing.
