Nocturnal Insects

Ages: 8 through Adult | All children must be accompanied by an adult that is also registered for the program.

Nature after dark is fascinating! Katydids sing, cicadas emerge, and wolf spiders hunt. With this lecture, we will learn about insects that are active at night in the summer. We will hear calls and learn about how they make their sounds. After the hour-long slideshow, we will go outdoors for a short walk to look for and listen to nocturnal insects in the park!
