Inside the grand du Pont mansion, wander through a section of the 175 rooms filled with exquisitely preserved period settings, each thoughtfully designed to reflect a range of eras, cultures, and styles—from refined European elegance to distinctive American craftsmanship and global influences.

Throughout the museum, found adjacent to the mansion, you’ll encounter an exceptional collection of furniture that showcases intricate detailing, masterful woodworking, and timeless design. Beyond the mansion, the gardens reveal the artistic vision of Henry Francis du Pont, spanning nearly 1,000 acres of meadows, farmland, waterways, and old-growth forest.
